Kendra Duggar Major Case Update! Joseph Duggar Court Appearance Details!

Kendra Duggar is fighting the criminal charges she got last month for endangering a child’s welfare and false imprisonment. She just won a big legal battle that will let her see her four kids again.
TMZ reported on Monday that Kendra’s lawyer, Travis Story (who Duggar fans may remember as Josh Duggar’s criminal defense lawyer a few years ago), entered a not guilty plea on her behalf at her recent court hearing.
Kendra, who is married to Joseph Duggar, was arrested last month and charged with four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment. They took her to jail, booked her, and let her go after Michelle Duggar bonded her out. Joe was charged with the same things as Kendra, but he was already in jail without bond after being charged with child molestation days before for an alleged incident that happened in Florida in 2020. It has been revealed that Kendra’s father, Paul Caldwell, called the police on Kendra’s husband, Joseph Duggar.
Kendra’s Attorney Made a Deal With The Court
Kendra had to promise that she would “have no contact by telephone (including text), in person, by computer (including email), or through other people in any way” with the victims in order to get out of jail on bond. (Calls between Kendra and Joe while Joe was in jail later showed that the alleged victims are the couple’s four kids.)
Kendra’s lawyer was able to get the no-contact order from March 20 lifted for Kendra.

“Her legal team… argued that the alleged victims wanted to be able to talk to Kendra again, that she had followed all the rules of the order, and that the ongoing restrictions were getting in the way of important third-party evaluations related to the case.”
It is said that the judge has agreed to end the no-contact order. Arkansas DHS will “supervise and help facilitate reunifications between Kendra and the people who were protected by the order before.”
Joseph and Kendra Duggar Court Date Set
The couple had court dates set for April 29, and those dates are probably for the criminal charges against them. It most likely will take place in family court.
As the Daily News Corner reported, the Duggar family spokesperson said publicly that Kendra’s charges in Arkansas have nothing to do with Joe’s child molestation charges in Florida, and that Kendra is “not suspected of being accused of participating in his alleged crime.” The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Tontitown, Arkansas, Police Department searched Kendra and Joe’s home on March 19. This led to the charges of endangerment and false imprisonment.

After his charge, they automatically do a home study if minors live there. They came to her house,” Joseph and Kendra allegedly had two rooms where the lock of the doorknob was on the outside instead of inside. They arrested her and took her kids for that, saying it’s evidence that she wrongly detains her kids.”
If Joseph and Kendra are found guilty on all eight counts, they could each spend up to eight years in prison and have to pay thousands of dollars in fines.
The couple hasn’t said anything about the accusations in public yet. Kendra has hired her own lawyer to represent her in the case, according to calls from jail.
