Bringing Up Bates star Mama Jane has been through some of the most difficult parts of her life in recent years. She was previously diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo radiation treatment. Even though the treatment took a toll on her health, Mama Jane was able to overcome all of it, resulting in her becoming cancer-free. However, Mama Jane later suffered from a stroke and was found lying on the farm. Since then, members of the Bates family have been taking turns watching over their grandmother. ‘Bringing Up Bates‘: Mama Jane Almost Didn’t Make It

Last February, Carlin took to YouTube to share moments from their annual “I Love You Day.” But later in the vlog, things got emotional, as Carlin opened up about how Mama Jane was sent to the ICU after suffering from a stroke. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, her grandmother was found by one of her uncles lying in the middle of the farm. She added that Mama Jane wouldn’t make it if she weren’t found sooner. Mama Jane’s strength hasn’t been the same since her radiation treatment. The passing of Papa Bill has also made her days lonely. Due to this, Gil and Kelly Jo have been taking extra steps to visit her and sending their kids to visit their grandmother.

Michaela Shares Special Update With Mama Jane

In an Instagram post, Michaela shared new photos from their weekend at her Mama Jane’s farm. Some of the photos show farm animals, beautiful flowers, and food. But what left many fans in awe was the photo of Mama Jane, looking happy and stronger. It shows that Mama Jane is doing well amid her recovery from a stroke. Many fans also commended Michaela for constantly being at Mama Jane’s place. She still puts time and effort into her grandmother despite her busy life as a foster mom to two little boys.
