Counting On: Joseph Duggar new demands in Florida case

Joseph Duggar is back in court — and this latest twist has fans completely stunned.

According to newly filed court documents in Florida, Joseph is asking a judge to modify a protective order so he can return to several properties located near the alleged victim’s family home. His legal team claims the family has “abandoned” the property, arguing he needs access to perform maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and cleanup work.

But critics are zeroing in on one explosive word: “abandoned.”

Online speculation instantly erupted, with many questioning whether the wording was intentionally chosen for legal reasons. Some believe the filing is Joseph’s attempt to prove the family no longer lives there, while others think it could open the door for him to regain access to land previously restricted by the court.

The protective order was originally put in place after Joseph faced shocking allegations involving a minor. Prosecutors reportedly oppose easing restrictions, while Joseph’s attorneys argue the ban prevents him from managing his own property.

And that’s not all — Joseph is also reportedly fighting to regain contact with his four children after being blocked from seeing them since March.

Now all eyes are on the upcoming June 20 hearing, where the judge could decide whether Joseph gets closer access to the disputed properties — or gets shut down completely.

One thing’s for sure: this Duggar scandal just got even messier.
