Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates shared with fans last week that she was packing and heading off to a four-day intensive therapy session. She showed fans what she was packing to take with her and also some of what the four days would include. There was going to be horse therapy, yoga, and lots of very tough conversations. Of course, fans know she’s attending therapy to help deal with the fact that her husband, Travis Clark, cheated on her. Now, she’s back and sharing an update with fans. Bringing Up Bates Star Katie Bates Shares Therapy Experience
Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates shares a lot on social media. While she doesn’t talk much about the cheating scandal that rocked her family, she does bring it up from time to time to let fans know how she’s doing. After revealing to fans that she was attending a four-day intensive therapy session, many have been eagerly awaiting an update on her experience there.
On Monday, Katie shared a photo of some things lying on the bed, including her open Bible. She also had her water bottle and journal lying there. A sticker on the bottle said, “It’s ok to not be ok.”
She shared that while she might share more details later about her experience, she is just thankful she had the experience at all. Katie is grateful for what she walked away from the intensive therapy with.
Did Travis Go With Her?
Katie also shared that she had been through a lot of individual and couples therapy over the past few days. She said it was hard, emotional, and more stressful than she expected. Katie went on to say that it was also one of the most meaningful experiences of her life. She said, “I’m leaving better than I came, and that alone feels like an answered prayer.”
So, from the sound of her post, it seems as though Travis Clark did attend the four-day intensive with her. She also noted that during her time at the session, it was electronic-free, so no calls or FaceTime to the kids.
While she didn’t come right out and say it, and Travis has not spoken of it, it sounds like they did attend together.
