‘Bringing Up Bates‘: Kelly Jo Bates Shares Heartwarming Mother’s Day Message

In an Instagram post, Kelly Jo shared rare photos of her mother, Betty Jo Smith. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she wishes all loving and supportive mothers a Happy Mother’s Day. She also prays to those who have already lost their mothers. She added, “I’m wishing for you to experience the hope & love & peace that only Christ can bring!”

Kelly Jo went on to reminisce about her memories with Betty Jo. She wrote, “Reminiscing about my own mom, I’m fully aware that I had so much to be grateful for. Though none of us are perfect, she was amazing in too many ways to even count.” Kelly Jo then confessed how she doesn’t appreciate all the things her mother was doing when she was younger, just like other children. But when she became a mother herself, she realized that motherhood is not an easy task. She expressed regret, saying that she would spend more time talking with her mom if given the chance.

Gil & Kelly Jo End Up In ER On Special Day

Kelly Jo recently took to IG Stories to share shocking news about how her Mother’s Day went. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, sometimes the unexpected happens, and it would ruin all plans made on that day. Kelly Jo then revealed that she and Gil ended up in the ER on Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, Kelly Jo didn’t share any details about what happened to them.

But it seems it’s nothing serious, as Kelly Jo and Gil were eventually left the ER on that day, adding that they had a few laughs and hugs. Kelly Jo is known for taking things to the extreme, especially when it comes to participating in family activities. In 2024, she ended up injuring her foot from playing pickleball with her kids.
