Bringing Up Bates: Travis Bates Shares Shame With Fans
Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates has been trying to heal and move forward from her husband, Travis Clark’s, cheating scandal. She says they have both been seeking counseling, both together and separately. Most recently, Katie shared with fans that she was going on a four-day intensive therapy trip.
Fans questioned whether or not Travis was going with her. However, when she got back, she noted there was individual and couples counseling, so it seems he did go with her. Now, just a few days after her return, Travis went to social media to share more thoughts about what happened and what he did to Katie.
He shared a photo in which he has multiple photos of himself and Katie, along with their two children, lying on the ground in front of him. It also revealed a tattoo on his wrist which reads, “Katie.” Travis opened up to fans in the caption. He said,
“I’ve been sitting in what I did for a couple months now, and I feel so much inside but it’s hard to find the right words. At the end of last year I made decisions I deeply regret. I’m disappointed, ashamed, and honestly disgusted with myself. The last couple months have been humbling. A lot of hard work, therapy, time with God… I know I’m not owed anything, but I am desperately fighting for my wife and my family every single day. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for our family ❤️🩹”
Fans React To Travis’ Words
Bringing Up Bates fans reacted to Travis’ post. Some had positive things to say, while others were very negative. One fan noted that Katie should be able to leave Travis if she wanted. However, because of their close ties with the church, it wasn’t likely to happen.
