Bringing Up Bates Kelly Jo Reveals Another Birth
Bringing Up Bates stars Kelly Jo and Gil Bates are no strangers to birth. They have 19 children, and their family continues to grow. Despite there being so many family members, they all seem to remain close and spend a lot of time together. Kelly Jo tries to be there for all her children and their big moments.
It was just a few weeks ago when Kelly Jo announced the arrival of Tori Bates’ sixth child. Now, she went to social media to share another special birth.
On Instagram, Kelly Jo and Gil shared a short video of one of their cows taking care of their new calf. The mother is licking her baby while the baby stands a little wobbly by her. Kelly Jo captioned the video, “Welcome to the world, little one! Something about farm life close to spring time makes me feel all happy and cozy!”
Tons of fans chimed in and noted how adorable the baby is. One person asked how the mom is doing. They said, “How beautiful! How is Mama Jane 💝?” Another fan said, “It’s a beautiful sight ❤️ Thanks be to God for these sweet moments.”
A Welcome Break From Hard Times
The birth of the calf and her grandchild has been a welcome distraction from the hard times a few of her children have been through over the past several months. Last year, Erin Bates was fighting for her life after giving birth to her seventh child. She developed severe infections that led to sepsis and a lengthy ICU stay.
Most recently, Katie Bates has been dealing with a miscarriage and her husband, Travis, cheating on her. The mother of two has been working hard to try to salvage her marriage. She attended a four-day intensive therapy session with no electronics. Katie discussed the experience, saying it was hard but well worth it. Travis has been trying desperately to get his life back on track with his wife and children. He even had her name tattooed on his wrist.
