She thought it was her fault at first, but they later took it to a doctor and learned that it was an infantile hemangioma.

Carlin explained that she had to take iron infusions during her pregnancy with Navy to stay healthy. However, some iron leaked into her skin, causing it to leave permanent scars. Carlin admits that she’s been frustrated about it and even sought help from multiple doctors, but she couldn’t find any answers.

Carlin was only told that it would lighten up as time passed. But she’s determined to heal fast, consulting her dermatologist. She was referred to undergo a laser therapy session, which could be quite expensive, but many patients find it effective in significantly reducing the appearance of skin issues over time.
